Gyan Chaupar is a project of 42 Mysteries, the umbrella for the philosophical, spiritual and creative explorations of husband and wife duo Tom and Vineeta Greenwood. Over the best part of twenty years, we’ve been exploring how business and creativity can help create a more environmentally and human friendly world.

We’re best known as co-founders of the ethical digital design agency, Wholegrain, and our work raising awareness of the environmental impact of digital technology, including the creation of the much loved Website Carbon calculator and Tom’s book, Sustainable Web Design. Together we are featured in the documentary film, ‘Responsible’.

Vineeta is also a Director of Catalyse Change, a social enterprise empowering young women to gain agency in overcoming climate anxiety and supporting them to develop green careers. 

Tom is also known for his unusual musings on the complex and often paradoxical challenges of sustainable business in his Substack newsletter, Oxymoron.
